NCC in School (National Cadet Corps)
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth development program under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is a tri-services organization, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and aims at developing character, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, and the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service among young citizens.
NCC in School – Overview
Purpose: To instill a sense of patriotism, discipline, and leadership qualities among students.
Participation: Students from Class 8 and above can enroll in NCC as cadets.
